I am more of a mood reader, hence why you’ll be seeing five different books with differing genres in my currently reading list. I could read a book and still be reading it two months later but I could also start a book and finish it in like, 12 hours. It all depends on the mood and how immersive the book is.

Absolutely Not in Love by Jenny Proctor, 46% through // I keep hoping that this book would give me some type of giggling and kicking my feet situation but so far… nah. It’s not bad per se but I’ve read better romances.

Once Upon a Broken Heart by Stephanie Garber, 21% through // The premise of this book is really interesting but I am reading on a physical copy instead of on my Kindle, so it’s taking me a little bit longer to finish it. It is a trilogy book series that I’m hoping to finish this year.

A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J. Maas, 33% through // I’ve read Fourth Wing, and ever since finishing Onyx Storm I am searching for the next best thing. ACOTAR is okay-ish but it’s not giving me the high Fourth Wing gave. I know I’m only on the second book but I’m hoping that the pacing will pick up soon.

Persuasion by Jane Austen, 21% through // Ah–my favourite title by Jane Austen. I detest reading this book on my Kindle for obvious reasons. Reading on an actual book is the only proper way to read Jane Austen’s–honestly–any classic books, really. Second chance is my favourite trope and Persuasion is the embodiment of it. The angst, the yearning! Oh, my lord.

The Book of Azrael by Amber V. Nicole, a few pages in // My friend loved it and of course I know I will love it too. The female main character is supposed to be this badass girl making a deal with a monster to save her sister. I’m excited to dig into this book once I’ve lightened my reading list.
