What Went Well in October

I think the month of October is the month of my personal growth because baby, I’m blooming! And maturing in one way or another. Ahaha. I’m so so proud of myself this month and of what I am able to achieve. It’s definitely the best month of 2018 so far, even better than my birth month and we all know how much I love March!   I have a job! Okay, not really a permanent job but more of a part-time job with flexible timing. I’m working Sunday thru Friday with Saturday off and although I am tired from working 6 days a week, it felt worth it! I’m working as a cashier at a restaurant where my friends and I usually hang out so since I spent a lot of time there already, why not I work there! I’m usually working 5 to 7 hours per day depending on customers. I learned how to save money and I am saving some! Needless to say that my income from part-time job this month has been …

My New Year and College Resolutions So Far

Hi. Since we are already in the month of October, I thought it’d be fitting to write about my 2017/college resolutions that I wrote about at the end of last year. I can safely say that I am not achieving any of them just yet (we still have a good two months, eh?) but this is just one of the posts that I know I should be embarrassed about because my resolutions and goals for this year ain’t going away, honey. 24 Books I’m Going (but didn’t!) to Read in 2017 Read post here Abort mission, abort mission. I should be almost through reading 24 books but oh who am I kidding, eh? I haven’t picked up any book at all except on those rare occasions where I was home and thought that I wanted to read something. I have completely forgotten about this challenge and I can honestly say that I fail this challenge because ain’t no way I have enough time to finish 24 books in less than 3 months. Sorry to …

Aiken Tea Tree Oil Spot Away Pore Refining Toner Review

Hi. Today I’m going to review a toner that I have recently purchased for the second time because I have seen good results. It’s the Aiken Tea Tree Spot Away Pore Refining Toner that you can get from Guardian or Watsons and I believe AEON Wellness too. Details: MYR6 for 100ml (last me for about a month) I bought this toner from a recommendation of a friend who has skin problem and I do not regret my decision even one bit. Nonetheless, as you can see from the photo below, the second ingredient in this toner is alcohol which does not suit people with dry skin or people whose skin does not agree with alcohol in skincare. The smell of the alcohol is quite strong too but I don’t find discomfort with it. Since it has alcohol, I feel a cooling effect when I use it on my skin. Because it contains a high amount of alcohol, I never leave my skin without a moisturiser after using this toner. I love this toner because it …

Stocking Up on Sheet Masks

Hi. I was never a fan of sheet masks being the last time I worn one was years ago but I went to One Utama yesterday and I saw a Malaysian own brand, Elianto shop there. I’ve been on makeup buying ban for a good few months but I saw that their Elianto Essence Mask Sheet were on sale! You can buy 2 packs of sheet masks and get another 3 for free. One pack contains 3 sheet masks so you’ll end up with 15 sheet masks in total for the price of 2 packs (6 sheets in total). I went with 5 different types of masks as I wanted to try as much as I can. I believe they have 8 types in total and the other 3 I had to sacrifice from buying. I almost bought another 2 packs just so I can get all 8 of them but luckily I was thinking clearly. The other 3 that I didn’t get were cucumber, pearl, and aloe vera. Details: 1 pack = 3 sheet …

Blogging Back to Basic

Oh, nothing much — just a picture of me holding an iced coffee ’cause that’s the only blog-appropriate picture I could find in my phone. I keep making excuses upon excuses as to why I blog sparsely for the past 8 months but today (on the day this post was written) I found out why.
