How I’ve Grown As a Lifestyle Blogger Over The Years

The blogging industry have definitely come a long way over the past decade. I was merely thirteen years old when I started my first blog in 2008, not knowing what I was doing nor any idea what a blog was. I’m twenty-six years old this year – literally half of my life is spent as a blogger, if I could call myself that. From a girl who was only starting high school to a university graduate with two kids, my blog has seen all of it. Back then, everyone and their mother were blogging for fun. No one thought that you could make money out of blogging, having only thought that blogging was just a fun hobby where you could be nosy of other people’s life and not being called a creep for knowing too much about their breakups or weekend rendezvous or what they ate for lunch two days ago. And then bloggers started making money from their blog. I don’t know how or when it happened, but when I received my very first …

The Sunday Currently: Vol. 10

Happy Sunday, everyone! I hope y’all are doing well. It’s currently 11.24 am at the time I’m writing this and I’ve just taken a shower, made English breakfast for the family, and my son is napping after his bottle. Finally some peace and quiet for mommy to write this blog post 🤪 I’m at my parents’ this weekend, spending the last month of being a mom of one before I give birth to #2 in a few weeks. I’m having iced coffee that my mom made last night which I’ve chilled overnight. Super, super good. It’s refreshing! Currently… Reading Easy. Reddit. It’s probably my most used app now. Writing I have planned my September posts in my digital planner so hopefully I can finish writing them all before I’m due. I have two separate planners; a blog planner and a life planner for everything else. Maybe a post in the future showing you how I plan blog posts in a digital planner? Watching Sweet Home Alabama (2002) movie. One of my favourites! Josh Lucas is …

Baby #2 2nd trimester update

I entered 3rd trimester 7 weeks ago but hey it’s not too late for 2nd trimester update! This pregnancy has been such a breeze. With my son, I kept track of my pregnancy weekly but this time, I am just so busy taking care of my son and doing chores that I don’t even remember what week I am at with my pregnancy. This gal had to check her pregnancy app every time someone asks me how far along am I 🤣 How far along? I am currently 34 weeks ++. My initial due date was supposed to be September 29th but after a few scans and a lot of scares that my baby is not growing as it should be, turned out that it was just an error in my last menstrual period (when you’re breastfeeding, it screws up your ovulation) and my due date has been changed to October 15th based on the growth of the baby. Weight gain? Oh, gosh, I gained 12 kg this pregnancy 😂 When we all thought my …

Digital Planner + Notebook + Sticker Haul (Etsy & Shopee)

Etsy is probably the best place to buy digital products for your planning and note-taking. I got almost all of my products there and a few sets of stickers on Shopee as well. I went a little bananas, I have to admit. They are all so stinking cute and I just had to have it – no questions asked. In case you missed it – head on to why I switched to digital planning! the planner I went with an undated planner from forLittleLion because 1. it was on 50% discount, and 2. it’s undated which means I can reuse it every year thus saving me a lot of money! The planner is so worth it in my opinion because it has 1000+ pages, comes with free notebooks, and a lot of functional stickers. Did I mention that you’ll receive 24 different planners? Yup. The planner comes in 3 colours; grey, pastel, and boho. Each colour has 4 different weekly layouts and each layout comes with Monday start and Sunday start. I love it so …
