I’m probably not the best person you should be taking financial advice from because for the longest time, I sucked at saving money and I never save, ever. But I don’t know what’s gotten into me a few months ago where one day I just decided that okay, Imma start saving my money now here we are. This method might not work for you and it may not even be the best method to follow but there’s a reason why this is my lifestyle blog and not a financial blog. AHA. Blimey. Get a job I’m a full-time student who still gets allowance from my parents but I also have a part-time job. I save the money from the job and only use the money my parents give me. Sounds so hard when a mall is just 2 mins walking distance from my condo but a girl has gotta save. So use the money your parents give you and save the money you get from your job. My Current Wish List

I have a long list of blog post ideas saved up in Notes but all I can come up with is the same ol’ wish list posts. Pssh. Anyway, since I haven’t done a wish list post for ever, I thought I would make one just to kind of update myself, really, with what I’ve been wanting and should start saving up for. I probably won’t have enough money ever to buy all of these myself but one can dream, eh? A new WordPress theme. Just shoot me. I don’t want to sound ungrateful but I enjoy getting new themes once in a while. Maybe next year, for my 23rd birthday? A new MacBook or an iMac. Probably once I graduated with a stable income. By the time this post is published I’ve obviously figured out a snazzy post title but right now I’m leaving it blank. Anyway, I thought I should bring back my weekly/monthly updates up on my blog. I did do a monthly series a few months ago but another blogger was copying my idea without even crediting me and IDK it just irked me so much so I stopped doing it. Right now I am bringing it back on my blog and I want to give full credit to Hannah Gale for creating this series. Beauty and Skincare Haul

So for the past month I’ve been buying some beauty and skincare bits that I really need. I have been on a buying ban for a month and a half ever since I started working so splurging on some stuff is really therapeutic for me but not for my bank account, apparently. Soz. I bought some toiletries that I’m running out of but those boring bits are better left out because who cares about the type of toothbrush I use?! I haven’t bought that much makeup because I didn’t need any more but I was in desperate need of a new mascara. I wanted to buy the Maybelline Push Up Angel Mascara but it was always sold out at Guardian (hi there international readers, Guardian is one of the drugstores in Malaysia) whenever they have a 35% off and my cheap ass didn’t want to purchase it at full price so I went for something that was half the price: the Catrice Rock Couture Extreme Volume Mascara.   I’m not sure if Vivy Yusof is well-known internationally but she’s the founder of the famous bloody-expensive-dUCkscarves in Malaysia and tell me one Malaysian who doesn’t want her life and I’ll gladly buy you a dUCkscarves.
