May Skincare & Beauty Haul

Hoping that this will be the last beauty haul on my blog because your gal is going broke from the excessive Hermo and drugstore runs I did this month. As I mentioned in the previous haul, I’m trying the 10 step Korean skincare routine so I’ve been buying a few more products to complete it. And let’s not forget a few beauty bits because it’s sale season at the drugstore!

Maybelline Superstay 24HR Full Coverage Foundation | RM54.90

I was contemplating between this or repurchasing the Fit Me foundation but I went with this and boy am I glad I did so! I’ve tried it twice and I love it! The coverage and longevity are so much better than Fit Me and it suits oily skin well. Dry skin gals, however, may not like it because it can be drying.

Maybelline Lash Sensational Waterproof Mascara | RM39.90

Honestly speaking, I would never buy full-priced mascaras so when this one went on sale for 50% off, I immediately grab it, no questions asked! It’s a good mascara and it doesn’t give me panda eye like other mascaras do and I have tried A LOT in the past.

Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer | RM39.90

The lightest shade is not light enough for my skin tone so I don’t know why I repurchased it. It’s an okay concealer to smoothen my under eye but I just wish that it’s not so yellow, you know..

Maybelline Baby Skin Instant Pore Eraser | RM29.90

I recently ran out of primer and the drugstore I went only had this Maybelline one and I was desperate for a new primer. I love this primer! It fills my pores and it makes my skin so smooth as a base for foundation. It doesn’t break me out too.

Silkygirl Lash Prism Waterproof Mascara | RM19.50

My friend recommended it to me because she claimed that it doesn’t give you panda eyes and she was right! It’s very inexpensive and doesn’t give me panda eyes that I hate so so much.

COSRX Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence | RM67.90

The texture is exactly like what you expect snail secretion would be although it doesn’t have any smell so I’m not disgusted to put it on my face. It hydrates my skin and I only put it in PM routine before my serum.

COSRX Ultimate Moisturizing Honey Overnight Mask | RM65

I’ve always wanted the Laneige Sleeping Mask but I just couldn’t find it in me to justify the price tag so I went with this COSRX Honey Overnight Mask. It smells like honey — not overpowering — and very easy to spread on the face since it’s gel consistency. My combination/oily skin loves it! Dry skin gals may not like it as much.

Naruko Rose & Botanic HA Aqua Cubic Youth Eye Complex | RM45

I’m trying to get into using eye cream because I’m old (hah!) already so I went with the cheapest 4-star rating product on Hermo. It’s very hydrating so I only use it at night because it breaks my under eye makeup.

The Body Shop Vitamin E Eye Cream | RM66

I didn’t plan on buying another eye cream but my fiancé was buying a few skincare products for himself and he asked me if I wanted anything and I couldn’t just not buy something when someone offers soz not soz so I got this Vitamin E eye cream to try.
