Money Diaries: September 2024
I came across Claire from Eleventh Avenue doing this type of post on her blog, and I thought it’d be interesting to share with you guys what I spent on in the month of September. I use an app called Spending Tracker – Budget on App Store to track my expenses and I’m loving it so far and have been diligently registering my expenses in there. Oh wow, I did not enjoy looking back at what I spent. I went berserk buying books last month and the money I spent on food deliveries could very well fit a cart choke-full of groceries. In a way, I think doing this type of post will do me good in a long run because when I see all the money I have spent on food deliveries are visually written, dirty laundry aired for everyone to see, I might just cut back on it and actually make myself healthy food.
Anyway, I hope you enjoyed this post! I might do this for October, who knows, eh?

I always find these posts so interesting, like a little glimpse into a persons life. I have to say that books would take up a large chunk of my outgoings as I love to read like you.

It is! I'm very nosy so i love reading this type of posts
Great post, Ereen! It's so helpful to keep track of your spending. I'm in the same boat when it comes to buying books, food, and treats haha. Thanks for sharing!
thank you for reading! x
to be fair, your food orders sounds delicious, so no regrets, eh? 😀 this post kind of serves as a reminder to me to also track my spending because i've never successfully stick to it.. i find it too bothersome, especially tracking it daily
no regrets haha! it is bothersome but i'd check in at least once a week
Wow.. so very thorough.
I try to be mindful of what I spend (albeit not always, as proven above) haha
Yay, love your money diary! Before getting an e-reader, I spent SO MUCH money on books until I finally started to borrow books from my local library. But, I sometimes do miss the feel and smell of a new book. I love the little lunch and treats purchases I see – it's a guilty pleasure of mine to eat out, haha.
thank you Claire! xx
