August Favourites

Hi everyone! I have a lot of beauty favourites this month thanks to my recent makeup purchases that I do not regret at all because they are amazing! However, I’m only going to be including products that I wear quite a number of times. It ain’t a favourite if you’ve only used it once, no?

I wanted to take pictures for this month’s favourites post but the weather is so gloomy for the past week and there really isn’t much sun outside but I need to get this post up since it’s the second of September already so I would have to stick with a stock photo. However, I will update this post with my own pictures later.

NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Stockholm & MAC Velvet Teddy (POST)

Stockholm is my favourite everyday my lips but better shade and Velvet Teddy is the perfect brownish nude for me. I’m not going to touch the subject too much because I talked about them a lot in my previous posts.

Lemaire LR10 Anti Frizz Oil

I got a haircut a few weeks ago (goodbye, long hair!) 14 months after my last cut. I dyed my hair last year and to be honest the colour didn’t really show on me because I have dark brown hair and I dumbly went with a colour that resembled my natural hair colour.

I have no problem with my hair at all be it after colouring or rebonding and my hair is very easy to take care of but with my new short hair, it is even easier to care for it and I love using this oil after washing my hair. It keeps my hair smelling nice and soft all day.

E necklace

I love accessories. I have this huge jewellery box where I keep all of my rings, bracelets, necklaces, and stud earrings. You can take out the top compartment to put more jewelleries on the bottom part of the box. I decided to clean the box last week and basically getting rid of old and rusty pieces and I found my E necklace!

I forgot that I even had that because after I decided to wear hijab, I wear lesser jewelleries and most of my accessories were left to dust.

My new template!

I am loving my new blog design. I tweaked it a little bit to look like what I wanted it to (you can see the original design here) and I don’t regret it one bit. I do have my eyes on other templates that I want to buy but I think I’m going to wait a couple of months before I invest in another template.

Downton Abbey

I love British period dramas! This series in particular is very interesting to me. Set in the year 1912, it depicts around an aristocrat family after the sinking of RMS Titanic. Who could have known that 20 pounds in 1912 is worth 1679 pounds today..

Empire

I hated musical dramas and I thought I would definitely hate this series but good god this series is awesome! I love the music in this series and I think that Timbaland did a good job with the soundtrack. Jamal Lyon is so hot and without Taraji P. Henson, this series is nothing. She’s the queen!
