shop my stash

I gotta admit, I am one of those people who get sucked into new products I accumulate that I completely forgot about my old ones, resulting in them not being use for months — or even years — but it's all coming to an end now. I started using my old products again and I can't believe why I stopped using them because they're that good. Here's to finding little joys in old products!

Maybelline Superstay 24H Full Coverage Foundation

I remember loving this one over Fit Me foundation matte + poreless, and I honestly can't remember why I stopped using this. It's almost as good as my Estée Lauder Double Wear although the Double Wear gives me a little bit more flawless finish. However, for the price, I can't complain. It's 1/4 of the price of Double Wear and if you're one to wear medium to full coverage foundation to work or class everyday, then I highly recommend this. However, I did get one or two tiny bumps every time I wore this foundation. Not sure why but that's something to be aware of.

Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Brow Gel

I got myself the Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade last year and since then, I have completely forgotten about the Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Brow Gel that I loved so much. I started using it again a few weeks ago and oh my, it is easier to apply and looks more natural than the Dipbrow Pomade.

Maybelline Superstay Matte Ink Liquid Lipstick

Liquid lipsticks have never been my go-to, but I do have a few in my collection just in case I feel like using one. The Superstay Matte Ink from Maybelline is just as good as the first time I wore it, long-lasting and can go through a hefty meal although it did not survive an hour long of steamboat buffet I had at Dookki. No worries — the liquid lipstick's not at fault — I just ate like a pig. 😋

Kayman Beauty Coalface Soap

My old love. I bought a new facial cleanser when I ran out of Coalface Soap just to try out new product but you know what they say about an old love, it just stuck with you, lingering in your mind until you succumb into the fact that you can't forget it nor stop using it. I remember why I used it for more than a year – it's just that good of a soap!

Ceradan Skin Repair Cream

Pregnancy hormones are not doing my skin any good, and I found myself having to reapply my daily moisturiser around my mouth area because they get too dry and flaky. I love the Ceradan cream particularly because of the ingredient: ceramide. I used this cream religiously last year and my skin was clear and hydrated. I started using this again as my night cream and I can see that some bumps on my forehead are starting to clear. This may be due to Coalface Soap as well but I used this combination last year and my skin looked great.

Bioré UV Aqua Rich Watery Essence SPF50

I hated this suncreen when I got it. I used it twice, felt like it was too oily for my skin, and never reached for it again. However, my husband took my 3W Clinic Sunblock Cream to work (kudos to my husband for using SPF) so I had to use this one instead and I kinda like it. It's not as oily as I remembered probably because of the changes on my skin. My skin feels hydrated!
