I love being a mom. But with that huge responsibility, there are things that I have to sacrifice such as cutting down my 10 step Korean skincare routine to just a barely-two-step routine that won't take up much of my time. I need to be quick – STAT – so bye-bye, redundant products, maybe we'll meet again when my infant grows up a little. Heh.

Cleansing

I'm a true believer of Kayman Beauty Coalface Soap and I will always going to be repurchasing it. It's great if you have breakouts and it keeps my skin at bay. I've used it for almost two years now and so far my skin hasn't been 'immune' to it yet. When I need to remove my makeup (which is a rare occurrence in this pandemic LOL), I use the Clinique Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm. A little goes a long way and it doesn't dry up my skin like other cleansing balms I've used before.

Essence + Moisturiser

When I need to be quick, I always use these two products in my routine no matter what. The essence I'm using is Kayman Beauty Rosa Glow Treatment Essence. What's great about it is it contains alpha arbutin so my skin looks glowing and it reduces my hyperpigmentation. I've used it for about 3 months and I still have three quarter of the bottle left.

The moisturiser I'm currently using is TonyMoly The Chok Chok Green Tea Watery Lotion. The green tea scent is very pleasing and I think it's great for oily skin. If you have dry skin, you might need something stronger than this so I wouldn't recommend to dry skin babes out there.

Once in a while...

I can't believe that I no longer use toners on a daily basis but if I do, my Hada labo Premium Hydrating Lotion is the only way to go. Its thick consistency provides all the hydration my skin needs. The Dear, Klairs Supple Preparation Unscented Toner is not that bad but the Hada Labo is better in terms of giving extra hydration. I usually alternate between those two.

For exfoliation, I use The Ordinary Mandelic Acid 10% + HA at night. I chose mandelic acid because it's the weaker acid compared to the other acids offered by The Ordinary. I will upgrade to a stronger acid once I'm done with this one.

I love using Yello Skincare Oatmeal Turmeric Mask/Scrub to treat pimples. I've tried using it every other day and my skin was da bomb dot com and soft as heck. Now that I don't have much time to spend on preparing the mask (it's powder based so you do have to add liquid of your choice), I use it as scrub right before showering. I simply add some water to make a paste and exfoliate my skin.

Lip care

I'm still using my trusty ol' Kiehl's Butterstick Lip Treatment SPF30 in Naturally Nude during the day and Klavuu Nourishing Care Lip Sleeping Pack at night. They're both great products and the Klavuu lip pack lasts me more than a year! It's definitely a bang for your buck.
