Why I switched to digital planning

Hello everyone, my name is Erin, and I have fully switched to digital planning. Something that I never, ever thought I would say – I have ditched my paper planners and notebooks and went digital. So here’s a story of how and why I switched to digital planning (and why you should too!). To start of, this whole post was supposed to be a digital haul of the planner and stickers and notebooks I purchased and also I wanted to include a list of websites offering freebies such as stickers, planners, inserts, and everything related to digital planning. But of course I’d have to tell you the story of how and why and when I went digital and that alone would take up the whole post so I decided to split it into 3 posts; why I switched, the digital haul, and where to get freebies instead of just compiling all of them into one post. I’ve always been a fan of paper planner and notebooks. Ever since in primary school, I have kept a …

Recently hauled beauty bits

To be honest, I haven’t been buying makeup as much as I used to. I stopped browsing the makeup aisles at the drugstores and I’m no longer interested in watching beauty videos and taking notes of what products I’m keen to try. A few months ago I threw out a bunch of makeup and kept some that I love or newly bought, and my collection hasn’t grown since. But recently I bought some new products and restocked some skincare and I’m excited to share it will all of you. KAYMAN BEAUTY Coalface Soap (local) I don’t know how many times I’ve restocked this soap. It is the most amazing cleansing soap I have ever used that works on me, treat my breakouts, and doesn’t dry my skin. I don’t feel any tightness after using it even when I don’t use any hydrating product after. I wish that it’s available internationally so you lot can try it yourself. HADA LABO Premium Hydrating Lotion Another one of my holy grail product that I’ve been using religiously since …

The Sunday Currently: Vol. 9

Happy Sunday! I am all comfortable at my in-laws’ watching the Olympics Cycling Track program. A little bit bummed that we (by we I mean Malaysia) didn’t get the Gold medal for Men’s Keirin but hey, Silver is big big big achievement too! Anyway, I had a cuppa tea this morning with my nasi lemak. What more can I ask on a Sunday? Currently… Reading Nothing at the moment, unfortunately. I haven’t picked up a book in weeks. Not my proudest moment, obviously. Getting back into reading isn’t an easy thing to do. I need a reading motivation. If you have any advice on how to start reading again, please send them my way. Writing I have a few post I want to write and I will probably start writing right after getting this post up. Haul post and office tour, anyone? Watching The Olympics on TV. As for TV show, I am hooked on The Resident season 3. I’ve always wanted to be a doctor so I am living vicariously through many medical dramas; …

My blog essentials & equipment

The last blogging essentials post I did was five years ago so I thought this would be the perfect time to give it an update as some of my equipments and essentials have changed. We all make do with whatever we have as the most important thing in blogging I believe is creativity and not just what type of computer or camera you use. Really all you need for your blog is a working computer and then it’s all down to you and your creative mind. I am by no means a professional blogger nor do I monetise or make money every month from my blog. It’s a delight to receive monetary compensation via sponsorships or guest postings but my blog is my safe space and I like to keep it that way – my hideaway. I don’t push for sponsorships all that much and I explicitly suck at replying emails from advertising companies. I meant to reply but it kind of got lost at the back of my mind and then it’s two months …

Friday Favourites 11

things to be happy for this week my new office space I talked about rearranging my office space quite a lot in previous posts and I’m excited that it’s finally done! I spend a lot of time in my office after putting my son to bed (I recently established a 9 pm bedtime routine with him and it’s been amazing!) Having a few hours of me-time every night after he’s gone to bed has been improving my mental health for the better and I use that time wisely by being in my office and doing what I love to do: blogging, catching up on dramas, and writing in my planner. Styled Stock Society one month membership Signing up to heaps of email subscriptions has finally borne fruit! Styled Stock Society in conjunction with Bluchic is giving away a one-month free trial of stock photos membership. I, of course, signed up for it and oh my gosh, I have almost 5,000 images at my perusal for the blog. I’m going to use them ever so wisely. …

Her Little Loves 18

In this trying times, finding little joys that I am grateful for seems a light year away. Social media has become a hellish hole where all news are never good ones and they make me keep asking myself, “Why am I still on this? This isn’t helping my mental health.” I never would have thought that I’d have to live through a pandemic this extreme. Being stuck at home, not being able to even go grocery shopping with my husband – the lockdown restriction only permits one person per household to do the shopping – it drives me downright a little bit insane. I used to stop by the drugstore after every grocery trip just to buy a few things for myself; hand wash, small knick-knacks I could keep in my bag, like so. Now, I couldn’t even do that. Public places scream “COVID!!!” to me and I don’t want to take that risk of getting infected. It’s not worth it. I have a child and I am pregnant. I couldn’t afford being sick so …
