Sunday Reset 19 – 05.24
Albeit being a monthly-frequent series on my blog, I feel like the time in between each Sunday Reset is momentary as I scanned through my planner for my schedule this month. May was relaxing and although not much was happening, I am quite happy for the slowness that it brought to my life. I feel happier and clearer for what’s to come in June.
May Highlights

✧ We went to five open houses the first two weeks of May as we are still in Eid season. It was fun and the food was all good.
✦ My kids’ school held a potluck for Teacher’s Day, so I ordered creampuff and churros from my cousin sister’s food business.
✧ The school held a Fun Run Carnival at 99 Wonderland Park. My mom and sister came along with us. After that, we went to the newly-opened The Exchange TRX where we had lunch at Madam Kwan’s.
✦ My cousin brother just had a baby, so I paid them a visit.
✧ We’ve been eating out a lot, and a notable one where we went to the Alamanda Mall for dinner and ice-cream afterwards.

What I read
- I’ve only managed to read 1 book which is quite disappointing. It’s very hard to get back into reading once you’ve been away from it for a while. Hoping that I’d get my mojo again this month.
What I watched
- I watched a Korean movie called Unlocked. It was a 3 stars for me. Brilliant ideas but very poor execution. If you watched a lot of police tv dramas, you’d understand my point.
- It’s the new season of Bridgerton! It’s awesome as always but sucks that they’re expecting us to wait a month for the second part? Mm, hello police, I need to report a crime.
- I started Outlander last week and my goodness it was good. A period piece with Scottish accent? Sign me right up! #JamieFraser.
What I listened
- LFO – I Don’t Wanna Kiss You Goodnight. I love me a good boyband and accidentally finding this gem on YouTube? Yes please. I need more.
- Isaiah Firebrace – What Happened To Us and It’s Gotta Be You. Love, love, love!
What I wore
- My new phone case and charm. Read all the deets here!
- Black abaya from my mom. It’s the first thing I reach to when I need to run quick errands. So easy to put on!
What I loved
- When it comes to planning, I’ve always been a monthly/weekly girl – I don’t have a super busy day to make daily planning worth it. However, recently I tried daily planning for a few days and perfected it as I went and my god it’s a game changer for me. I don’t know how to weekly plan anymore. Daily planning is the best, even when you don’t have anything to do much.
What’s on the June schedule?
✧ I have a second cousin’s wedding to attend.
✦ BBQ night with my mom’s side of the family.
✧ We’re going to Cameron Highlands with my in-laws so that’s exciting.
Upcoming posts
✧ I’m doing a no-buy month challenge this month so maybe I can write about it after I’m done?
✦ I’ve been wanting to do a where to get WordPress themes post for quite a while, fingers crossed I manage to do so asap.
✧ My updated skincare routine and my quick makeup routine.

I need to start watching Bridgerton! xx

Now you made me want to watch Outlander!
It sounds like you had such a great month. I don't think reading one book is disappointing, it's one better than none haha! I've been meaning to watch Bridgerton for literal years, but still haven't gotten around to it. I can't believe that they split the recent series into two halves. I hate when they do that! I love daily planning too, I find it really helps me to reach goals. I hope you have a lovely June! xx

Please do watch Bridgerton! It's so so good you won't regret it x
Looks like it was a good month. Congratulations on your brother having a baby. The early seasons of Outlander were brilliant. The last few seasons have been a little disappointing but I'm still going to continue watching and am waiting for the next and i think last season to come out.
Thank you! I'm still finishing season 1, and so far so good!
I just started to open Blogger again and I miss little sips of tea. Turns out you had renamed the blog!
Hi Lya! Welcome back!!! xxx
Congratulations to your brother and cousin for the life milestones! Reading goals are always a challenge for me so I've been trying to make it a habit of visiting a book shop each shopping trip and reading the back covers and a random page to see if I like it enough to read! Maybe that will help you too 🙂
