What’s in my tote bag: pilates edition

If you’re an avid reader of my blog and you’ve read everything I’ve ever written on here (or anywhere else), then you would know that me + exercising have never been in the same sentence, like, ever.

Until last week when my sister-in-law suggested this one studio nearby our house that is super affordable and all subscriptions and bookings are made through their phone app. Fortunately, we managed to snatch their 50% off first month subscription, bringing our monthly fee this month to just about RM60 (USD15) for 4 classes.

I had been wanting to go for pilates for quite a while but all the other places I’ve surveyed were either expensive or far from my house. I prefer weekday mornings as my kids are in school by the time the class starts (I go for the 0830 classes).

I thought I’d show you what I bring to pilates, instead of my usual Mary Poppins’s I-have-everything handbag.

01 / I am a pilates-going mom and who am I without a water tumbler? I am obsessed with my Hydro Flask 40oz Travel Tumbler in the colour Ivory.

02 / My yoga anti-slip socks from Shopee. I have them in pink and black.

03 / Heart print bifold wallet from Sea Gloca. Not the most amazing quality, but hey it was cheap and cute.

04 / Foldable recycle bag just in case I need to pick up some groceries or pack anything, really.

05 / Tissue and wet tissue packs because hygiene is always number 1, my friend.

06 / House + car keys.

07 / My small makeup bag consisting a powder from Chanel, Ole Henriksen Pout Preserve Peptide Lip Treatment (aka the best lip balm ever!), and the cult-favourite MAC lipstick in the shade Velvet Teddy.

08 / My tote bag is from Gentle Woman.
