Nobody told me that finding a WordPress theme that is not magazine-like would be a sport. It’s been almost three days. I am this close to purchasing a new theme that costs an arm and a leg because finding a simple and free two column with aesthetic typography is haaaaaard. Ugh.

Honestly speaking, I want to steer clear of the aesthetic themes we see all too much on Etsy. Those kind of themes I have been using for a decade and for some reason it made me not want to write as much. I miss the old blogger me who would create a post out of thin air without caring what kind of pretty images I should insert into it. I know blogging isn’t like it used to be, but I’m not blogging for popularity. If I wanted to be popular, I would stick with Instagram and TikTok.

Let us pray I found something I like. And free 😫 I want a feminine theme that is minimalist, small content width, two columns, and just clean looking. No magazine-like. No sliders whatsoever. I want a simple one, why is it so hard to find….

I’m kind of leaning towards the WordPress-own twenty twenty-five theme but good lord the amount of editing and extensive research I need to do just to tweak a few things is not enjoyable at all, alright.
