Her Little Loves 29
Started June with little to no event scheduled for the month, but ended up with weekends full of fun things with the family. My everyday may be mundane as a stay-at-home mom but spontaneous rendezvous makes it a little more exciting. I also happen to have watched 100 episodes of tv shows in the span of three weeks so you might have an idea of what my daily routine looks like. I am glued to my iPad and streaming services, haha.
Nonetheless, here’s a collection of all the little things I’m fond of, at the moment:
01. I had to repurchase my favourite room and linen spray, The Lounge from 5Luxe Scents Co. Running out of it causes my anxiety and I am so glad I have a few backups ready in hand. It really is that scent.
02. I got a new iPad case. I love how feminine looking it is despite not having the pen slot on the side where it charges.
03. Spending time with family is always, always going to be in my calendar. I love going to my mom’s for a chat. If not, we’d be talking on the phone for hours LOL.
04. My game obsession for the month is Magic Sort. You know that game where you pour coloured liquid into another matching liquid? Yup, those kind of games.

05. One of my goals for the months is to watch TV shows that I have yet to finish. So far, I am done with The Mentalist, Suits, Arrow, Cold Case, Missing You (miniseries on Netflix), and Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. I still have a long list to go, though.
06. The other day I went for supper with my husband right after my kids’ bedtime at Purnama Coffee House (it is very near my house, like a few blocks away) and I tried their spicy ramen for the first time. It’s delicious! I’ve been craving it ever since.
07. My husband and I finally got to dine at Rembayung, and if you’re local to me you’d know that it is always fully booked. I loved the food and I will definitely come again with my family next time.
08. At the start of the year, I wanted to regularly churn out new post on a weekly basis and while the first few months were scarce of published content, I must say that I’m doing pretty good with my weekly posting now. Not to jinx it or anything but I think it’s due to my Instagram and TikTok social detox. I am, however, back on Threads.

09. If you haven’t watched From, please do so now. It is available on Prime. It’s an ongoing slow burn mystery show so I’m dying waiting for the new episode.
10. I recently omitted cleansing oils from my skincare routine and returned to the mighty micellar water I left years ago. Reason being the essential oils in the cleansing oil I was using was not suitable for my skin (which caused me constant breakouts and cystic acne). While there are other cleansing oils without essential oils on the market, I figured it’s best to change to non-oil based for the time being. I know my combination skin will thank me.
11. I got a few functional stuff for the bedroom that makes it a little bit better. Our bedroom is always a work in progress and I have a few things I need my husband to make. If you want to take a peek into my desk/shelf situation, head on to this post on Threads.
12. I couldn’t resist buying a midyear digital planner from Good Mondays Paper. Her products are thoughtfully crafted and I feel like this year’s midyear planner is a bang for your buck. The essential stickers, the deco stickers, the new 30 templates included in the planner–everything is perfect.

13. I cut my hair shoulder-length short. I love it. I am obsessed with it. It’s easier to wash. Less hair fall. And I look at least five years younger. Highly recommend!
14. Flowers from hubs! We went for breakfast at Ghumah Pangkin and they offer fresh flower bouquet as well, arranged on the spot. I loved it!
