Her Little Loves 28
My weekend was filled with spending time with loved ones. We went to a neighbour’s open house on Saturday afternoon and a get-together with my maternal side of the family in the evening. On Sunday morning, we went for breakfast with my paternal side of the family and I went on a lunch date afterwards with my girlfriends. I brought along my daughter because she’s basically attached to my hips 24/7. We had our lunch at Dolly Dim Sum (which is scrumptious, BTW), I got a new MAC lipstick for 20% off and window shopped for a little bit and got ourselves Daboba before parting. I haven’t had boba drinks in years. It was quite refreshing and delicious, I must say.
Nonetheless, here’s a collection of all the little things I’m fond of, at the moment:
01. My website has gotten a new look! I took around a week and a lot of headache deciding which way I was going with my blog. I wanted something simple and straightforward, so I went with a simple WordPress theme for Hearten Made. Despite its simplicity, it’s highly customisable should I need be. For now, I am obsessed and excited to be writing more.
02. As someone who hates working out, Reformer Pilates piqued my interest and is making me sweat once a week.
03. Store-bought bagels so I can have it for breakfast anytime I want.

04. Current favourite coffee order: Coffee Bean’s hazelnut dry iced americano with espresso creme crown and Luckin Coffee’s little butter latte. Yum.
05. The Mentalist on Netflix. I watched the first 12 episodes eight years ago and recently decided to continue.
06. I recently went on a staycation at Daun Retreats a few weeks ago with my adult friends. Our weekend was quite literally spent on eating, gossiping, and shopping.
07. I am enjoying life without Instagram. I do check it sometimes on my laptop but that’s just that. I refuse to re-install on my phone. I can see massive improvement on my anxiety.
08. I thoroughly enjoy lighting candles nowadays. Just me, candles burning, and a cup of hot tea.
09. Very late to the Good Pizza, Great Pizza party but who’s counting score, eh?
10. We had a random gift exchange session during our staycation and I managed to grab a white fuzzy slip ons that are just the softest. They warm my feet so snugly.

11. Looking out the window at the crack of dawn. It’s amazing.
12. I decluttered my walk-in closet and made room for more clothes. It’s so satisfying to let go of clothing items that don’t spark joy anymore.
13. I am not a watch person, having only an Apple Watch as my day-to-day accessory but I recently got sucked into the dainty Casio watches. It’s perfect and looks more feminine than my Apple Watch (obviously).
